ARTIST PROLOGUE
My artistic life began as a young girl learning calligraphy and drawing. I have provided calligraphy services for professional organizations like colleges and churches, through team/club certificates, framed prose and poetic works, and graphic design for public facing productions. Additionally, I have provided calligraphy work for individual clients through wedding invitations, seating cards, posters, and embossing furniture.
Though my profession was focused on STEM work, art was my favorite class in school. Learning about color theory and shape formation opened a world of wonder that continues to mesmerize me.
Painting is a tool of creative expression for me, as well. My inspirations come from observation and fantasy and provoke an immediate reaction. Once captivated, I am swept up in the yearning to capture the muse through an artistic expression. This captivation lingers indefinitely, sometimes prompting several works around a singular subject.
I desire the connoisseur of my art to sense the initial inspiration that provoked me to capture the magical muse.
